Anna Daly has returned to her old stomping ground, Ireland AM.
The Dubliner began presenting the show back in 2008, before moving on to host Weekend AM every Saturday and Sunday morning when it launched in 2015.
Today, Anna returned to her old job, in Ciara Doherty’s absence.
“One day only,” she said alongside a picture of herself on set.
Speaking to VIP Magazine recently, Anna opened up about how she got her initial start in the station.
The mum-of-four began in the marketing department, before moving in front of the camera after being approached by one of Ireland AM’s producers.
“I didn’t tell anyone, but I signed up for a night course in tv production, direction and presentation – and I loved it.
“I’d be finishing work in TV3 marketing and I’d be excited to head to the course after.
She continued, “After I finished, I went back to TV3 and four or five screen tests later, they offered me the Ireland AM gig.
“I started doing weather, then moved into reporting and then I started covering for Sinead [Desmond].”
And the rest is history…
