Karen Koster and hubby John McGuire will be experiencing their first Christmas as parents, and the Xposé presenter has admitted that this first year of being a mum has been the best thing she’s ever experienced.
The couple welcomed their son Finn last January, and has opened up about their wonderful year as a family.
Speaking to Evoke.ie, Karen said, “It’s been a joy to watch Finn grow. Nothing can compare to baby’s first year.
“It’s been the quickest year, the biggest learning curve, the biggest challenge and the most love I’ve ever felt.
“You can cope with more than you think you can.”
The presenter is now seven months into her second pregnancy, and admitted that she can’t wait for the next little bundle of joy to arrive.
“I do feel like I could drop this baby before Christmas to be honest though, and feel like I’m nine months along already because it’s as if you’re on hyper speed, but I feel good.
“The doctor said to me, second pregnancies are never easier, but the labours are.
“It’s been a mental year and I’ve been pregnant for half of it, so I’m quite emotional about it.”
