After many weeks apart, Aoife Walsh and her fiancé are finally reunited. Aoife has spent lockdown so far in her family home in Clonmel.
However yesterday she was delighted to be back in her Dublin apartment with her other half after two and a half months apart.
Sharing to Instagram she said; “Today has been the BEST day.”
“It’s been an emotional few weeks for us but the feeling of finally being able to give him a hug after all that has happened is unexplainable.”
Only last week the style influencer celebrated what would have been her hen weekend, at home with her family. Like thousands of brides around the world, she has had to put plans for her big day and all the celebrations that go with it, on hold.
The former Miss Ireland was due to fly to Spain over the weekend with her closest pals for a few days of fun in the sun. Instead, the model let her hair down and celebrated with family at home in Tipperary.
“This weekend would have been my Ibiza hen with my bridesmaids. A weekend of lols, sun, sea, sand, cocktails, dancing, glitter, boating, funny stories, matching outfits and big hugs,” she said.
“It didn’t happen. As you can see, I’m in Costa Del Clonmel seeing the funny of it all… especially when I rock out to my dad in the garden dressed like this to tell him the shots are ready. If you don’t laugh, you’ll cry.”
She continued, “Hoping all the brides who’s hens and wedding were to be this weekend get out, enjoy the good weather and make the most of it. Sending lots of love.”
Aoife announced her engagement in December 2018.
