Aoibhinn Ní Shúilleabháin has opted to stay in Ireland for her honeymoon.
Former Rose of Tralee Aoibhinn wed Carlos Diaz in late July in a top secret ceremony.
Many newlyweds head off to a sunny spot or a luxury hotel abroad for their honeymoon, but this low-key couple favoured a staycation.
The happy couple chose Kerry as the perfect first holiday as husband and wife.
The newlyweds headed to Glenbeg Caravan and Camping Park in Caherdaniel, on the Ring of Kerry road.
“They didn’t draw any attention to themselves and nobody even recognised Aoibhinn for the first few days,” a source told Independent.ie.
“They looked like any other couple on the campsite, Aoibhinn wasn’t wearing any makeup and they looked very happy to be there.”
Aoibhinn, who lectures in UCD, has kept her love life out of the spotlight since splitting from Ryan Tubridy in 2014.
She found love again shortly after her split with with photographer Carlos, but kept her relationship private.
The pair wed in a small ceremony with just 70 guests in Dublin city centre.
