Aoibhin Garrihy has shared the sweet moment she learned of her sister Ailbhe’s pregnancy.
The PR guru is expecting her first child with husband Ruaidhri Hehir in a matter of weeks, and can’t wait to hold the tiny tot in her arms.
Ailbhe, who publicly announced the news in April, told Aoibhin during lockdown as she showed off the baby scans via Facetime.
Sharing a screenshot of the exact moment it happened, Aoibhin looked happier than ever.
Aoibhin herself has two beautiful children, Hannorah and Liobhan, with husband John Burke.
The BEO founder previously revealed she’s incredibly grateful for the time they’ve all spent together during lockdown, and admits she’ll treasure it forever.
Speaking on the Six O’Clock Show, she said, “It’s a rollercoaster, but we have really special and magical moments that we’ll look back on and say, ‘That was glorious and we didn’t realise how special it was.’”
However one thing they are struggling with, is being away from family.
Aoibhin and John are currently based in the West of Ireland, while her family live in Dublin.
”I haven’t seen my parents in months and my kids are the first grandkids,” she said. “They are just yearning for them and without Facetime, we would just be lost.”
