Anton Savage has called for the public’s assistance after his motorbike was stolen in Dublin.
The radio host took to Twitter to ask followers to keep an eye out for his beloved bike.
Anton was shopping in East Wall when ‘three little thieves’ reportedly took it.
The former 2fm host shared a photo of the motorcycle along with the reg number.
It read: “If you happen to see this anywhere around the East Wall, maybe gis a shout. Just nicked from outside the Lidl and I’d really like it back.”

He added: “3 little thieves, in the time it took to buy bread. A reg might help – it’s 05D90466”. Anton received an outpour of support from fans and celebrities. Even actor Russell Crowe retweeted the message. The broadcaster thanked Russell, labelling him a gent: “@russellcrowe I’m sure you’ve bigger fish to fry than my missing bike! Thanks for the retweet; gent as always. Hope all is well with you.”
Well yes and no . Hate the idea of your bike going missing , thought I’d lend a hand for what it’s worth . Hope you are otherwise grand — Russell Crowe (@russellcrowe) July 28, 2017
Lidl got in touch with Anton to tell him that CCTV footage had been sent to Gardai.
Here’s hoping Anton is reunited with his motorbike!
