Anna Geary and her other half Kevin Sexton recently welcomed their first child together, a son called Ronan.

The couple welcomed Ronan ahead of schedule on August 2 and have been bonding with their new addition ever since.

Anna took to her Instagram to thank her followers for their support while she takes on the new challenge that is parenting. The presenter said despite her tiredness and how unaware she is of what day it is, she is just incredibly thankful for everyone’s kind messages.
She also noted how crazy it was looking back at footage of her presenting Up For The Match with a bump just hours before she went into labour.
She added a caption to one photo of her sporting a purple dress over her bump saying: “Looking back at pictures of my bump here, feeling a bit surreal.”

Continuing on she said: “I was feeling great, all glammed up, and still in heels presenting Up For The Match… little did we know at the time about Ronan’s imminent arrival.”
“Clearly, he’s going to be a big GAA fan, as he was only mad to be part of the action,” she joked.
She continued sharing the love for everyone who showed their support by posting a video message where she said: “I know we haven’t been on this for a while now, I feel like we’re just coming up for air in the last day or so but I wanted to jump on say thank you so much for all of the messages.”
Giving an insight into life with a newborn the 36-year-old said: “I can see why sleep deprivation is used as a form of torture that’s all I say. He’s been brilliant but we’re definitely adjusting to life.”
