TV3 presenter Anna Daly says that she’s eager to get back to work, after being on maternity leave for the last five months. The mum-of-three gave birth to her newest addition, Rhys William Ward, last November.
Anna is set to return to her role on Weekend AM this April, and is more than ready to get back to work at the station.
Speaking to the Irish Mirror she said, “I’m genuinely excited about going back, I’m such a nerd. I know lots of my friends were dreading leaving their babies. But actually, it sounds really geeky but I love that show.”
Former Xpose host Lisa Cannon has been filling in for the 39-year-old while she’s been away, and has been doing a fantastic job.
Back in August of last year, Anna exclusively told VIP Magazine that she was supportive of her replacement, and that there was no bad blood between them. “There are great friendships between us all. It will be interesting to sit back and have no role,” she said.
We can’t wait to have her back on our screens!
