Guests were welcomed with mimosas in the elegant Garden Room, followed by a delicious brunch, which gave me the perfect opportunity to take in the beautiful interiors and hear firsthand about the fascinating history of this charming Dublin property. I loved learning that it once served as a home for retired governesses, and was even referred to as a “Home for Bewildered Women,” a playful nod that inspired the hotel’s name today.
On the morning, Frits Potgieter was officially introduced as the newly appointed CEO of The Chesway Collection, a new identity bringing together The Montenotte, The Woodland Suite Experience and The Wilder Townhouse. We wish him every success in his new role.
