Anna Daly is expecting her third child next month, and it’s fast approaching the time of her maternity leave from TV3.
The Saturday and Sunday AM presenter previously admitted that she plans on working right up until her due date, however, she’s now revealed exclusively in this month’s VIP Magazine that even when the baby is born she will be tuning in on the weekends to watch her replacement.
“A friend did say that it must be mad to watch the person doing your job and once she said that I did think it was a little weird. I still watch it, I still text nerdy stuff into the producers and presenters. I still have a link to them all the time,” she said.
Although at the time of VIP’s interview with Anna it had not yet been announced that Lisa Cannon would be temporarily replacing her on the weekend morning programme, the 39-year-old did admit that they’re all great friends in TV3, and that this will be her time to take a step back for a few months.
“There are great friendships between us all. It will be interesting to sit back and have no role,” she said.
Anna also honestly told VIP that she won’t be putting pressure on herself to get back into shape straight after baby number three, but she will try her best to exercise and make healthy choices.
“I won’t put pressure on myself, but I will try to be healthy and get back into my old clothes. I’ll be out walking with the buggy and I’ll do the mum and baby yoga,” she said.
