Andrea Hayes has revealed she’s expecting her second child with husband David Torpey.
The couple have a five year old daughter together named Brook, and can’t wait to give her a little brother or sister.
While the TV3 star is thrilled to be expanding her family, admits that it’s a very anxious time for her as she has had a history of miscarriages.
“Naturally, as well as feeling extremely overjoyed, I am – and was – still feeling a little terrified, if I am being honest, due to the fact that we have had multiple miscarriages,” she told the Irish Independent.
“It’s always a worry it will happen again. It’s been an extremely difficult year personally in many ways. But we got through it and yet so many positive things have happened.
“I am feeling so blessed that we have finally reached the milestone 12 weeks, having lost pregnancies in the past this is a very treasured pregnancy and both David and I are beyond excited.”
