Amy Huberman has opened up about how she’ll be spending Christmas Day this year, and it’s definitely a plan we can get on board with.
Speaking to the Independent Amy admitted that although she has two young kids she still goes to her parents house to celebrate. The actress also visits her in-laws on the day with hubby Brian O’Driscoll and two children, Sadie and Billy.
“It has evolved and changed now that I have a family of my own, but it wouldn’t feel right if I didn’t see my mum and dad and my two brothers on the day.
“Who would they slag mercilessly if I wasn’t there? It’s only fair. We are lucky that all the in-laws are in Dublin so we split the day to spend time with both families. The magic of Christmas has grown exponentially now there are smallies about!
“I love the build-up and buzz of the festive season; catching up with friends and the feeling of positivity and goodwill it brings. We meet up with friends in town on Christmas Eve to soak up the atmosphere and then Christmas Day is all about spending time with family.
“My in-laws do an annual Christmas quiz which is great fun, and in my house there is a lot of festive movie watching, like Miracle on 34th Street and Love Actually. This is all scheduled around an hourly eating plan obviously,” she said.
This sound’s like the ideal Christmas to us- we like your style Amy!
