Amy Huberman has received the cutest message from a young fan after reading her book, “The Day I Got Trapped In My Brain” and we can’t deal!
The book itself is brimming with charm and heart and centres around an 11-year-old girl with a big imagination that might just get her into trouble.
It comes as no surprise that Amy’s debut children’s novel has received a ton of praise since its release with one fan even mailing the author herself to tell her!
Taking to Instagram to share a picture of the sweet handwritten letter, Amy wrote: “My editor just sent this to me and if it were Victorian times I would have collapsed dramatically across a chaise longue while fanning my face, but it’s not so I didn’t.”

The letter in question mentions how much the young girl loved the book and how she even found it “hilarious”.
“I live in Belgium, my mum is Irish and I will tell all my friends to read it,” she concluded.
Amy expressed her gratitude to all her readers saying: “Thank you SO MUCH to all of you who got and read the book over Christmas, the owners of the little readers who have sent on messages that they had laughed and cried, that has been really lovely.”
“When you are sitting at your desk doing the thing, staring at the wall not knowing what the thing will end up being or if it even will at all!!”
“It’s just lovely I guess to have a squinchy moment of this,” she added.
Amy continued to thank all her readers for the support and for listening to her “yammer on about it a bit (quite a bit)” over the past few months.
“Shall also now add ‘Loves making children cry’ to my CV,” she concluded.
