Sharing her appreciation, Amy said: “Well this was just the loveliest thing to happen”
“My gorgeous Dad was the most talented clothes designer, he had his own label ‘Huberman’ for years, and made beautiful women’s cashmere and wool coats.”
“When he was at the height of it, I was a teenager and only wanted to wear shiny purple bomber jackets with my X-Works jeans. Anyway I have one of his coats someone had kindly given me before, and my Mum has a few but I really always wished I’d held on to more of them, or had one my size I could wear.”
Continuing: “I got a DM from someone a few weeks ago saying she saw a Huberman coat in her local charity shop and it was in pristine condition and she went in and got it for me. How ridiculously kind is that?”
The mum-of-three revealed that artist Paula Moen found the coat, gave her a shoutout saying: “I had once bought a vintage plate from her online but we had never met. (Go check her stuff out @paulafmoen she does deadly up-cycled vintage plates and is an all round good egg.)”
Sharing her appreciation, Amy said: “I was so touched and so grateful. It’s like a virtual hug.”
