Amy Huberman will once again step in front of the cameras to star in director John Butler’s Irish movie ‘Handsome Devil’. The TV starlet will reunite with her pals from 2013 hit The Stag, Andrew Scott and Hugh O’Conor, as well as IFTA-winning Moe Dunford.
And in a coincidental twist, the actress will play a rugby mum in her movie debut. The movie centres around a fee-paying private school and its rugby culture, where Huberman, 35, will play the role of ‘rugger mum’ – not quite far removed from her own life.
Amy’s hubby, Brian O’ Driscoll is getting involved in the action too – the British and Irish lion will choreograph sporting set-pieces and be on set to offer some advice on the rugby antics!
Completing the cast is Moone Boy’s Norma Sheahan, who Huberman shared the limelight with in RTE’s The Clinic.
The new Irish movie is in production and is due for release next year – we can’t wait!
