Amy Huberman has a new comedy series in the works, and she has just received the funding she needs to get it made.
The talented writer and actress is a busy lady at the moment, as she is currently penning a screenplay of her second novel, I Wished For You, and now she’s taken on the role of writing a new comedy series.
Amy has starred in a string of comedy series, including; Can’t Cope Won’t Cope and Threesome, so writing the script for the show should come naturally to her. However, the mum-of-two has admitted that she hasn’t made a start on writing the series.
“We got some funding for a comedy series so I’ll have to sit down and write that,” she said on Today Fm’s Ian Dempsey Show.
Amy is also currently starring in four part drama series, Striking Out and she is receiving high praise for her role as heartbroken solicitor Tara Rafferty.
