American actor Rob McElhenney has been enjoying a family break on our Irish shores.
The star, who plays the character of Mac on hit tv show It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia flew into Ireland recently for a low-key getaway, accompanied by his dad, brothers, and sister.
The 42-year-old and his family visited some of Ireland’s most beautiful sights including Trim Castle, the Mullaghmore peninsula, and Portmarnock beach.
It seems that Rob was more than impressed with the sights on offer here, with the star claiming that Ireland has, ‘the greenest grass on planet Earth’.
Documenting much of the adventure on his social media, the actor also praised the people of Ireland, as his trip drew to an end.
“I am filled with so much love for the people in this photo,” he said.
“And for the thousands of people on the shores behind us that made this one of the best weeks of my life.”
Continuing to gush he said: “You made feel like I was home. Sláinte.”
