The largest race meeting of the year at Kilbeggan Races took place on Friday evening, with Ladies stepping out for the Bellamianta Tan Sustainable Style best dressed competition with Industry Expert Mark Rogers taking the reins as Judge of this year’s event.
The competition was Ireland’s First Sustainable Style best dressed competition at the races with Industry Expert Mark Rogers taking the reins as Judge at the event. Ladies were able to show off their upcycled, borrowed, handmade and thrifted outfits at the race meeting.
Fashionistas turned out in force from every corner of the country to show off their upcycled, borrowed, handmade and thrifted outfits, in hopes of winning the incredible €5000 prize. The ultimate winner was Mary Gardiner (32), from Kilbeggan who recycled her wearing outfit for the event who took home prizes from Bellamianta, BodyByrne, Annutri, Casmara, True Beauty, Kotanical, Polished London, Declaré Skincare, Linen Shirt Company, Pelo Hairdressing and Voduz, as well as €1000 cash.
Speaking about her incredible win, Mary who lives in Kilbeggan said, ‘I’m in shock, I did not expect to win, It was a great opportunity to get out my wedding outfit again.”
