Aisling Larkin has shared her delight, after filling in for Muireann O’Connell on the Six O’Clock Show this week.
Muireann has been enjoying some well-deserved downtime in the West of Ireland over the last few days, and no stranger to the set, Aisling stepped in as her replacement.
The mum-of-three has been appearing on the programme for the last number of years, showcasing her culinary skills in the kitchen but decided to change things up a little, taking the hot seat.

Speaking to VIP Magazine, Aisling said, “I am thrilled to be co-presenting the show. I love to cook and feed people but I also love to chat to people .
“It has been a fantastic week so far interviewing some brilliant guests like Ronan O Gara, Olympians Michael Carruth and the O’Donovan brothers, Fair City star Sorcha Furlong, singer song-writer Tommy Fleming and one of the top immunologists Professor Luke O’Neill.
“Also I am loving a perk of the job, which is being fed by some of the best foodies and chefs in the country,” she laughed.
Finishing up her stint on the show, Aisling will be chatting to Melody Thornton from the Pussycat Dolls this evening.
