We’re coming to that time of year again when children start penning their letters to Santa Clause, requesting the must-have toys to be lined up under their tree for Christmas day.
However, one 5-year-old’s gift list had something extra to offer, and it’s contents have certainly brightened up a gloomy Monday for VIP Towers.
The letter was sent to Ryan Tubridy and read out on air this morning, and caused great hilarity both in the studio and for listeners at home.
Along with the usual toys such as Lego, a games console, and a toy gun, this little fella wanted the controversial game Grand Theft Auto.
This is a shocking addition to a 5-year-old’s innocent Santa letter as the game features car racing, nude women, and scenes of murder. But the young boy wanted to make it clear to Saint Nick that he “just wants to play with the cars (not the hookers)”.
He also asked if he could have a “blue suit with a red tie” – this kid seems mature beyond his years!
We don’t know if Santa will bring the little boy everything he wants, but it seems he is most definitely nice rather than naughty as he wished Santa luck for this festive season, signing off his letter saying: “thank you and I hope you have a great Christmas”.
Who knows, maybe this little guy could appear on this year’s Late Late Toy Show, airing on November 27th.
