When do the Olympics start?

Are you looking forward to this year’s Olympics? The Olympics are set to take place from July 26th to August 11th in Stade de France, Paris.

The opening ceremony will commence at 6:30pm. The event will take place on the River Seine, despite protests from Parisians. The Mayor of the city recently swam in the water to prove it was clean.

Where in Paris are the events taking place?

There will be 45 sporting events across 35 competition venues in Paris. But the capital isn’t the only city that will see Olympic excitement as other cities will be used as venues for the sport including Versailles, Le Bourget, Nanterre, Vaires-sur-Marne, and Saint-Denis.

If you travelled to France for the surfing then you may be disappointed… The competition will be held at in the city of  Teahupo’o in Tahiti.
