From her favourite tv show to her guilty pleasure, her proudest moment to her most embarrassing one, here, we spend ten minutes with Below Deck’s Lucy Edmunds to get to know her a little better.

What were you doing last night?
Last night I was cycling, I was training. I’ve got a triathlon coming up, so I was just out on the road, trying to get as many miles in as I can.

What’s on your tv series link?
I love watching “Married at First Sight: Australia,” it’s one of my favourite programs.

What’s your takeaway of choice?
Chinese! My order is Chicken Chow Mein, Chinese Chicken Sour, like Sweet and Sour and Egg Fried Rice.

Who’s your broadcasting hero?
UK presenter, Laura Woods.

What’s your guilty pleasure?
My guilty pleasure I would say is Rosé. I love a Whispering Angel or a Minuty.

Is there a question you hate being asked?
If its to do with the yachting industry, I hate being asked how much we earn in tips. It’s a really personal question. I realise it’s on the show but it’s not a nice thing to ask.

What’s been your most embarrassing moment on air or in public?
100 percent, my most embarrassing moment was when I fell out of my bed and I scarred myself. I didn’t even know that I did it until the next day and I woke up with a massive plaster on my back. Yes, a very embarrassing moment and having to re-live it, and watch it, wasn’t great either.

Is there a motto or piece of advice that you live by?
Yes, it’s something that my dad says and it’s “you only have one life, so just live it.”

Tell us a secret about yourself.
The weirdest fact about me is probably that I’m obsessed with lemons. I will literally peel a lemon and eat it. I love the sour taste of it.

What’s been your proudest moment so far?
Achieving a degree while I was also yachting, typing my essays on a boat. I would say that, that is the proudest moment of my life so far.

All episodes of Below Deck Sailing Yacht are available to stream exclusively on Hayu

This piece originally featured in our sister mag, TVNow, which lands on shelves weekly.
