Ticketmaster have revealed the disappointing news that Ed Sheeran will not be adding any more Irish dates to his Divide tour.
Many fans of the Shape Of You singer were saddened this morning when they weren’t lucky enough to get their hands on tickets for his Dublin shows, set to take place on April 12th and 13th.
The coveted tickets sold out within 5 minutes and Ticketmaster apologised for the inconvenience. On Twitter they wrote, “@EdSheeran fans: We are expecting huge demand & unfortunately there won’t be enough tickets to go around.
We have people working constantly to try to make it work smoothly but inevitably there will be disappointment. We’re sorry if you miss out on tickets for this tour.”
It was hoped that Ed would add more dates to the Irish leg of his tour due to the high demand from fans, but unfortunately it will not be happening.
A music lover wrote to Ticketmaster to ask the question on everyone’s lips, but the company responded, confirming that just the two dates as advertised will be going ahead.
We’re sad to hear this, but hope that fans will get a chance to see the star!
