Amazing news for Graham Norton today as the rights to his murder mystery book Holding, have been picked up by bosses at BBC soap Eastenders. The Cork native launched his debut novel earlier this month.
Holding is a fictional story is set in the quiet Irish village of Duneen. The town is normally the source of little drama, but when the remains of community member Tommy Burke are discovered all of Duneen’s dark secrets begin to come out.
Dominic Treadwell-Collins, executive producer at Eastenders for almost three years, revealed the exciting news that Blueprint Pictures had won the television rights to the chat show host’s book. They are the production company behind hit films such as In Bruges and Seven Psychopaths.
Taking to Twitter he announced the news saying, “Very excited to announce that we’ve won the television rights to #readholding @grahnort @Blueprint_Pics.”
