Marty Morrissey has revealed that he would like to take part in the the next season of RTE’s Dancing With The Stars.
Although he hasn’t been officially asked to take part, the sports commentator feels that he could rock the ballroom dance floor, because of his Irish dancing background.
The 58-year-old is currently rooting for fellow GAA pundit Des Cahill, who has made it down to the final five celebrities left on this season of the dancing competition.
Speaking to the Irish Sun Marty said, “I am being asked around the place. If approached, I’d definitely think about doing it.
“Dancing With The Stars is a great show. I love it. I’m delighted Des is doing so well.
“I can shake, rattle and roll, I can jive and waltz. I did Irish dancing when I was a child. Being from west Clare, dancing is what we do. That and football, hurling and playing traditional music.”
We’d love to see Marty bust a move next season!
