Leigh Arnold and her husband Steve Davis welcomed their first daughter, Piper Rose, to the world yesterday morning.
The actress has said, “On Thursday 17th September we welcomed our beautiful daughter Piper Rose Davies to the world. She was born at 11.30am weighing 8lb1oz.”
She continued, “Mummy and baby girl are both doing great, and big brother Hunter is over the moon.”
Before settling on the name Piper Rose, the star previously admitted that she found process of choosing a name to be very tough.
“My family’s opinions in particular are driving me nuts. Any name I have come up with has either been met with a ‘You can’t do that to the poor child’ by my mum, or ‘Can’t you just find something normal like Jack or Charlotte’ from my dad,” she said on her blog.
“We will decide on the name of our little one when we meet them and even more hippy, we will wait to see what name suits them and we believe they want,” she added.
Well we think they made a great choice!
