Laura Whitmore has just announced that she’s been forced to pull out of tonight’s Strictly Come Dancing show.
The Irish presenter was due to take the stage to perform a jive tonight, with partner Giovanni Pernice, but she’s had to pull out last minute.
Earlier this week, the 31-year-old sustained an injury and didn’t realise the severity of it until she visited the doctor, who told her to rest and take a break from dancing to prevent permanent damage.
Laura took to Twitter to tell fans she’s “absolutely devastated” that she won’t be able to take part in tonight’s show, but her main priority is to ensure a speedy and full recovery for herself.
