Dancing With The Stars Ireland professional Karen Byrne’s ex-boyfriend Wojtek Potazkin has released a statement as he quits their joint business.
Karen, who ran the dance company, ‘Karen & Wojtek School of Dance’ her former boyfriend is now in a relationship with dance partner Jake Carter.
Since the news broke, Wojtek has spoken out about his decision to leave the business that he shared with the Dublin dancer for five years.
“With a very heavy heart – after beautiful 5 years full of love, loyalty, hard work and honesty I am left with no choice and I will no longer work under the umbrella of ‘Karen & Wojtek School of Dance’.” Wojtek confirmed.
“I want to thank all the teachers, dance parents and especially all the dancers that I will always love eternally for their trust in my knowledge, experience and love to the art and sport of dancing.
“I’m still fully available to all of you individually, my own School will open shortly.”
Since winning season two of the RTE dance show, Jake and Karen have been spotted together many times, with the youngest Carter brother spoke about the special bond the pair shared.
“From day one, this girl has worked so hard. She has dedicated her life to me over the last four months, so I’m proud to win it for her,” Jake told VIP Magazine.
“I cannot believe that we actually won this thing,” he said.
“I’m actually lost for words. I’ve just about stopped crying. It’s crazy. It’s like a dream.”
Karen went on to say, “I am, for once in my life, speechless. The three couple who were left deserved to win so the fact it was us, is magical.”
