Jamie Dornan and Cillian Murphy have revealed that fame hasn’t changed their daily lives and they find it easy to keep their family life out of the public eye.
The heartthrobs appeared on The Late Late Show on Friday night to promote their new flick Anthropoid.
When asked by Ryan how they manage staying so private in such a public job, Jamie responded saying, “I think it’s incredibly easy, I think you can court all that nonsense if you want to, you can drag your family to the openings of envelopes or whatever.”
“The fame aspect that comes with being a working actor, does not intrigue me in the slightest. The fundamentals of your life don’t change, your wife, kids, friends – the stuff that makes you doesn’t change. Everyday is totally normal. It’s just a job, you go to work, do the job, come home and that’s it. Recognition doesn’t really happen I mean, I live in Gloucester in the countryside.”
When the talk show host quizzed Cillian about the struggles of staying private he said, “If you behave like a normal person, people treat you like a normal person and that seems to me like pretty common sense. The other thing I kind of attach myself to is the idea that the less the audience know about you, the more they want to get know the character you’re playing. It’s really not that complicated.”
We can’t wait to see their bromance play out on screen in Anthropoid!
