Guns N’ Roses are set to play Slane Castle as part of their Not In This Lifetime Tour in 2017.
The band reformed last April to perform at the Coachella Festival in California, after years apart due to a rift between band members Axl Rose, Slash and Duff McKagan.
To celebrate their reunion, they are embarking on a 35 date tour across Europe and North America.
Slane Castle owner Lord Henry Mountcharles is delighted that the rock band will play their first Irish gig in 25 years at the legendary venue.
“We are really thrilled to have one of the most excitIng rock n’ roll bands in the world coming back to Slane 25 years after they first played, the same month in 1992 which was critically considered to be one of the best Slane’s ever.” he said.
Tickets go on Sale this Friday, 9th December at 9am from all usual outlets.
