British pop singer Ellie Goulding has FINALLY spoken out about dating One Direction star, Niall Horan. Ellie, who has recently split from McFly’s Dougie Poynter, has revealed the details of the time she spend with the Mullingar man.
In an interview with Seventeen magazine, the singer said that their relationship was a bit of fun, and that Niall is a lovely guy – as if we didn’t know that already, eh? She also told the magazine that the pair have remained good friends.
“We’re still friends. We went on a few dates, and it was really fun,” she commented.
“He’s a really, really lovely guy. he’s got the biggest sense of humour, he’s very caring, and I see him as a genuine friend in the industry.”
Ellie cleared up the rumours that she moved on to Ed Sheeran after Niall, blasting it as totally untrue. “We were never in a relationship. My song is not about him,” she insisted.
Ellie is not the only big name that Niall has been linked to romantically. He appears to be quite the ladies man, as in the last year his name has been connected to Selena Gomez, Khloe Kardashian and most recently model Jessica Serfaty – we don’t know why it’s band member Harry Styles that gets the rep as a ladies man!
