Ed Sheeran has deleted his Twitter account.
Last night, a message which looked to be automated, appeared on his timeline stating that several of his old tweets would be deleted.
But now his account is completely gone with no explanation as to why.
Reports suggest this may be because of the backlash he suffered following his guest appearance on Game of Thrones.
The singer had a cameo in the show, where he sang and chatted to Arya Stark.

Many fans of the show took to Twitter to say they weren’t impressed with the scene, however Ed hasn’t yet revealed if this was the reason.
Earlier this month, the Shape of You singer said he no longer uses Twitter though his account was still active at the time.
“I’ve actually come off Twitter completely. I can’t read it. I go on it and there’s nothing but people saying mean things. Twitter’s a platform for that,” he told The Sun.
“One comment ruins your day. But that’s why I’ve come off it. The head-f*** for me has been trying to work out why people dislike me so much.”
