SOCIAL SHOTS: Famous faces at the glamorous launch of the ‘Make My Magnum Experience’ at Arnotts

There was a huge turn out to the lavish event held in the Dublin department store yesterday evening

The ‘Make My Magnum Experience’ was launched in Arnotts yesterday evening, and boy was there a turn out!

The department store was packed with well-known faces, including top model Holly Carpenter, looking bronzed having just jetted home from a hol in Bulgaria with BFF Thalia Heffernan, Daniella Moyles, whose job was to spin the decks, tv presenter Eoghan McDermott and blogger Suzanne Jackson, of So Sue Me fame.

Officially launching the evening was Sky Sports host Rachel Wyse, who exclusively chatted to VIP, and she explained to the huge crowd of guests exactly what the new Magnum Dublin involves.

It’s the first-ever ice cream pop-up concept of its kind for Magnum in Ireland, having previously wowed Sydney, Paris, Shanghai, Cannes, New York, Cape Town, London and Tokyo.

“Luxury ice cream meets luxury shopping – I personally can’t think of a better way to treat myself than at the Make My Magnum Experience at Arnotts!,” Rachel said. “It was great fun dipping my ice cream into the incredible Magnum chocolate, and I choose dried strawberries, crushed popcorn, and popping candy toppings to create my very own Magnum.”

Guests on the evening were treated to chilled glasses of prosecco, delicious canapes and banging tunes, courtesy of DJ Daniella. And – of course – the chance to create their very own icecream.

Dedicated Magnum ‘Pleasure Makers’ dip each ice cream individually in deliciously decadent chocolate, before you choose your own selection of tempting toppings -from goji berries to chilli flakes – to sprinkle on top.

VIP went for white chocolate with pistachios, rose petals, dark chocolate drops and popping candy – and we can assure you it tasted just as good as it looked!

The pop-up store officially opens in Arnotts Department Store, Dublin today and will run until Sunday the 23rd of August, and an ice cream will set you back €5: worth every bite, we reckon!
