Security measures increased for Shawn Mendes’ Dublin gig. Here’s all you need to know!

This comes in wake of the Manchester attacks

Shawn Mendes will play the 3Arena in Dublin tomorrow night and following the recent terrorist attack in Manchester last week, new security precautions have been put into place in the Irish venue.

Posting a statement to social media today, event organisers have advised concert goers to arrive early to allow time for security checks.

“There will be strict security procedures at the venue,” they warn. “Due to these security checks it will understandably take longer for customers to gain entry into the venue.

“Please expect to queue for over an hour to get into the venue. We will do our utmost to get everyone into the venue before 8.30pm however please arrive as close to 6.30pm as possible.”

Doors open at 6.30pm, James TW will be on stage at 7.30pm and Shawn Mendes on stage at 8.30pm.
