Benefit Cosmetics has issued a product recall on one of their most popular products.
The company revealed that a batch of their Gimme Brow products did not meet quality standards.
The makeup could lead to eye irritation if it comes in contact with eyes.
They are therefore asking customers to return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund.
In a statement about the recall it said: “Benefit Cosmetics is committed to the highest levels of quality and doing what’s right for our customers.”
“Out of an abundance of caution, we are initiating a voluntary recall of our Gimme Brow product after discovering that recent batches of the product did not meet our stringent quality standards.
“If applied in its normal usage on the brows, the Gimme Brow product doesn’t involve any risk. However, if it comes into contact with the eyes, it could lead to eye irritation.”
The company added: “We recommend that you stop using the product. For a full refund of the Gimme Brow product, please return it to your original place of purchase. If you have additional questions contact us by email or phone.”
