The Dublin LGBTQ Pride Festival continues this weekend and we couldn’t be more excited to celebrate love, acceptance, and freedom in our city.

With fun to be had at every turn, you’ll struggle to narrow down your schedule so we’ve rounded up a few of our picks to make marking your calendar that little bit easier!

Glitterbomb
When? 10:30pm, Friday June 29th
Where? The George, Great Georges Street, Dublin 1
What? Get a head start on the Saturday celebrations with Glitterbomb, your best bet for drinks, dancers, and killer tunes – thank you DJ’s Mo and Davina.  But get in early – entry is free until 10:30pm with prices increasing as the night goes on.

Pride Youth Breakfast
When? 10:30am, Saturday June 30th
Where? Youth Work Ireland, 20 Dominick Street Lower, Dublin 1
What? The Pride Youth Breakfast is a free, pre-parade brekkie for those aged 14 to 23 hosted by the wonderful BeLonG To and Youth Work Ireland. Grab a rasher sambo, get yourself parade ready, and have a chat with other young people from around the country!

Dublin Pride Parade 2018
When? 2pm, Saturday June 29th
Where? Stephen’s Green to Smithfield
What? The biggest event of the Pride festival and an institution since 1983,, Dublin’s Pride Parade 2018, will be leaving setting off from Stephen’s Green at 2pm but assembly starts earlier that morning. Dublin is one of the few major cities in the world where everyone can join in and march the parade route – you don’t have to be on a float or part of a registered group. This has made it one of the largest Pride Parades in Europe with about 30,000 marching last year, including more than 60 floats and thousands of rainbow flags and is estimated to be even bigger in 2018.

Official Pride 2018 After Party with Samantha Mumba
When? 7:30pm, Saturday June 29th
Where? Opium, Wexford Street, Dublin 2
What? The ‘Gotta Tell You’ singer will be headlining the official Pride After Party in her home city and we predict more than a few excited fans will be bopping the night away at Opium. Tickets are €15 which we reckon is a bargain for a throwback concert, rooftop barbecue, exclusive Pride cocktail menu, and a confetti canon. We repeat: confetti cannon.

Pride Bingo with Shirley
When? 9:30pm, Sunday July 1st
Where? The George, Georges Street, Dublin 1
What? Feeling a little… worse for wear after a big Saturday? Why not try a spot of bingo to clear the head? Entry is free until 10pm (€5 afterwards) and you could win big bucks while enjoying entertainment from some of Ireland’s best-loved drag queens. Who said endings had to be sad?
