Irish actress Saoirse Ronan has taken on the role of Mary Queen of Scots, and she seems to have adapted perfectly.
The Oscar nominated actress will appear alongside Margot Robbie in the period movie which is based on the book ‘My Heart Is My Own: The life of Mary Queen of Scots’, by John Guy, and the first pictures of Saoirse as her character have now emerged.

The 23-year-old looks completely different, as she debuts long red hair in her royal attire.
The move, which tells the story of Mary Stuart’s attempt to overthrow her cousin Elizabeth I, Queen of England, is set to be released in 2018.
