Yikes.

It's all hush-hush

A well known Irish blogger has refused to adhere to an injunction which stops anyone revealing details of a celebrity threesome, which has landed them in hot water.

An injunction has been in place for a number of weeks which stops anyone from revealing the name or any details which could give away the name of a celebrity whose husband was apparently involved in an extramarital threesome.

The identity of the celebrity cannot be revealed in England and Wales, but it has been shared in Scotland and the US.

The blogger shared a story revealing details of everyone involved in the threesome, and was contacted by the celebrities’ lawyers this week.

The Irish writer was asked to delete the post as their lawyers deem it to be in “clear violations” of the injunction. However, as the website’s servers are based in the US and the article was written in Ireland, the blogger doesn’t believe the injunction applies to them.

Lawyers for The Sun on Sunday will try to overturn the draconian injunction at the Court of Appeal on Friday.

Speaking to the Irish Independent, the blogger commented, “I can understand why they are irritated, but I’m quite happy to bring this fight to court. It would be amusing, it will be amusing.

“Whether the British courts take view that it is in contempt and I’m arrested when I land in London, that’s a different story and it’s what my wife is worried about, but they’re not going got throw me in jail.

“If the Sun have the injunction overturned tomorrow, it’s all over. If not not and [the star] thinks it’s worth it to have a fight with me, well that’s a bigger story.”

They continued: “Because of this injunction, the story has become bigger. It’s being reported on all over the world. Getting the injunction was counter-productive.

“I’ve got loads of stuff on Google that would be embarrassing for my kids – if you don’t want to embarrass your kids, don’t do embarrassing things.”

According to the Indo, “The blog editor who lives in Ireland is not awaiting the results of a fresh legal challenge tomorrow.”
