Doireann Garrihy has opened up about working with family.

The snapchatter and radio star often works with her family on different jobs.

Doireann’s actress sister Aoibhinn is well known for her work on Fair City and her stint on Dancing with the Stars, while their sister Ailbhe works in PR.

With their talents combined the trio often work on shoots, projects and campaigns together.

But it is all fun and games working with your nearest and dearest?

“There is definitely a bit of stress with working with family,” Doireann exclusively told VIP.

“Even not just with my sisters, I help my dad out from time to time, and we drive each other mad!

“But you need to make sure you strike a balance, you need to say, ‘we’re working together, we need to all have our heads screwed on and get this done, and then break away from it,

“You need your own space too, but generally, working with them is great”

The influencer explained that if they do have an argument, it’s just typical sibling issues.

“We have our usual sister fights about clothes, if one of them takes something straight out of the wash that you haven’t worn yet, or whatever, never anything serious.

“We get on great in fairness!”

The star is currently working with RTE on a mini-series for RTE Player, but Doireann say she’s happy to work in radio for the time being.

“Radio for now is great, it’s such a good training ground. With TV you have visual to fall back on but with radio you have to be constantly thinking on your toes.

For now I’m loving radio, but eventually definitely TV.”

Doireann is taking part in Visa’s #TapIntoIreland road trip across Ireland, along with James Kavanagh, Pat Divilly, Rob Kenny and Anouska. It kicks off on Thursday, and they document the amazing Irish experiences recommended by their followers. The only catch is, each adventure must cost less that €30, which they can pay for by tapping their Visa contactless card. You can keep up with the influencers on their social media channels!
