Earlier this summer it was announced that Googlebox were ready to begin casting in Ireland, but now it’s been revealed that you’ll have to meet some very specific criteria if you want to take part.

Apparently, the makers of the hit series are keen to recruit from all around Ireland, but are specifically looking for a sports mad family to take part.

An insider told the Irish Independent they want to recruit, “GAA lovers from across the nation to voice their opinions on what’s on the telly.

“They’re going to focus on regional families, so there will probably be a family from Dublin, maybe one from a rural, farming background and then a sports-mad GAA family.”

The insider went on to say that they’re looking for participants who represent the majority of the Irish population and also aren’t short of a few words.

They said, “They’re keen to get a good cross-section of families so that viewers will find it more relatable.

“They particularly want big characters who aren’t afraid to speak their mind – and who love watching television.”

Something tells us they won’t have trouble finding some chatty Irish participants!
