Last night’s episode of Red Rock was a serious tear jerker, as viewers said goodbye to popular character Katie Kiely.
It was revealed last year that actress India Mullen would be leaving the show to pursue other acting opportunities, but nothing prepared us for the emotional rollercoaster that was her goodbye.
Yesterday marked Katie’s last day in Red Rock, and audience’s witnessed her and David sort their problems out once and for all, with David finally revealing the truth about Darren’s murder.
Katie then let him say goodbye to Luke, and she walked out of his life forever. However, it was the devastating final moment between Katie and her dad Vinny that really broke our hearts.
The pair have been an unbreakable team since the series began and the moment that proud-dad’s final words to his little girl really got us.
Viewers took to social media to express their sadness at Katie’s exit, and it seems we weren’t the only ones who shed a tear or two.
