Last night the TV3 Toy Show took to our screens, and unfortunately it didn’t live up to the expectations of many viewers.
While you can never please everyone, it seems TV3 disapointed a lot more people than they impressed last night.
The show had all the ingredients to be a hit, having former Rose of Tralee, Maria Walsh hosting the show alongside Brian Ormond, a number of celebrity guests, including Shane Filan, some great children’s performances and all the best toys available this Christmas, but it just didn’t seem to hit the spot and people took to Twitter to share their thoughts.
One user said, “TV3 Toy Show should have been called the TV3 singing and commercial break show. There’s a disappointed 9 year old here.”
Another user wrote, “My 6 year old just handed me the remote control and said, ‘Here watch what you want’ #TV3ToyShow”
However it wasn’t all negative, as despite not liking the show itself, most viewers had nothing but high praise for the two new hosts.
“Big respect to Brian Ormond on the TV3 Toy Show tonight, great work. And also Maria! Keep them as the presenters for years to come,” said one user.
