US TV show Vikings is looking for extras in Ireland

Are you looking to make some extra cash this summer while getting your 15 minutes (or seconds) of fame?

US hit tv show Viking is casting in Ireland this month.

Show bosses are looking for people of all ethnicities living in Ireland to audition for extra work next weekend.

They are holding an open casting day in Wicklow on Wednesday, June 27th between 10 am and 5 pm in The Grand Hotel on Abbey St.

On Saturday, June 30th they will be in The Complex near Smithfield between 9 am and 5 pm.

Bring with you the knowledge of your height, dress, shoe size etc for the application form.

While they are very open to the type of extras they are looking for, you should not have any visible tattoos, you should have naturally coloured har, and all men should be prepared to grow beards.

Filming will be in Wicklow and Dublin during July.

If you reckon you fit the bill, head to one of the open days next week.
