U2 frontman, Bono slammed Donal Trump during his performance at the iHeartRadio Music Festival on Saturday night.

The band were playing at the two day festival in Las Vegas and gave an overtly political performance on the second night of the show.

At the beginning of the set the singer encouraged concert goers to vote regardless of their political allegiances however, as the show went on it became evident that he does not want Republican nominee, Donald Trump elected as president of America.

While flashing a video of Donald Trump on a screen, he asked the crowd, “Are you ready to gamble your car? Are you ready to gamble your house?”

His questions were interrupted by a video of Donald Trump repeating the question, “What do you have to lose?”

Bono responded saying, “The American Dream is alive! … What do you have to lose? Everything! Everything!”

The Irish stars comments just days after he slated the presidential candidate on the Charlie Rose programme.

“I don’t think he’s a Republican.” he said. “I think he’s hijacked the party and he’s trying to hijack the idea of America and I think it’s bigger than all of us.

“This is really dangerous and wise people of conscience should not let this man turn the country into a casino.”
