Renowned tv fashion stylist Courtney Smith has revealed she was left shaken today after a man attempted to mug her as she walked along the quays in Dublin.
The style expert was targeted in broad daylight, but luckily the assailant left empty-handed – after she managed to land a punch in his face. You go, girl!
Courtney took to her Twitter page to reveal her frightening experience, tweeting: “To the asshole who tried to mug me on the quays… I hope my right hook left a mark!”
Followers showed their concern by asking if she was OK, to which she replied she was a “bit shaky but fine”. Explaining how the mugger didn’t manage to take anything, she joked: “I’d like to think it was my punch… Realistically it was probably the screaming!”
This latest incident comes after Vogue Williams revealed she was pushed to the ground and her phone was taken recently, and Thalia Heffernan was hit and had her laptop and bag stolen last year as she made her way through Dublin’s city centre for an early modelling gig.
