Yewande Biala has become the latest contestant to be booted from the Love Island villa, after former partner Danny Williams chose to recouple with new girl, Arabella.

Tensions were high between the three all week, as Danny, who was initially with Yewande, had his head turned, and struggled to decide which lady he’d like to stay with.

After failing to couple up with any of the other contestants tonight, Yewande found herself in a very vulnerable position, which resulted in her elimination from the show.

“It was a rollercoaster of emotions, up and down,” she said.

“I learnt so much about myself. I made amazing friends and I wouldn’t change anything.

“The most challenging aspect is throwing yourself into an environment that you don’t know.

“Every day is different, different personalities and characters, and you’re always guessing what is going to happen.”

While she’s understandably upset that her time was cut short, Yewande reveals she doesn’t have any regrets.

“I feel like I haven’t finished my journey. It came to an end quite abruptly,” she said.

“I really believe that everything happens for a reason and I wouldn’t change anything.”

During her time in the villa, Yewande became incredibly close with a number of fellow contestants, especially Amber and Micheal.

Speaking of their relationship, she beamed, “The way it’s developed is so organic, which is the way it normally happens on the outside. It’s so magical to watch.”

While she reckons these two will go the distance, Yewande doesn’t believe all the other islanders have the same intentions when it comes to their relationships.

“I think there are a couple of people in there playing a game,” she said.

“A lot of people aren’t there for the right reasons. I’d say there are only two genuine couples; Michael and Amber and Curtis and Amy.”

And does she think Danny and Arabella will have a future together?

“Maybe,” she mused. “A bombshell coming in, it’s very hard and it’s difficult to know their intentions.

“I hate it when a bombshell comes in saying, ‘I want to get to know everyone’, because that is a lie. You know who you are going for. She knew she wanted Danny.

“I feel like if he does get to know her, it’s not going to work. There are so many factors – they’re so different, and the age gap.

“You have to be realistic. He’s just starting his life. He’s only 21. They are in two different phases of their lives. In the villa, it’s very easy to forget.”

Catch the show weeknights on Virgin Media Two.
