The IFTA 2017 nominations have been announced

The nominations for this year’s Irish Film and Television Awards are in, and some of Ireland’s biggest names have made the cut.

Jamie Dornan has been nominated for his role in The Siege of Jadotville, Ruth Negga has been given a nod for Loving and Colin Farrell has been shortlisted for his role in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. 

Others mentioned on the extensive nominations list are Cillian Murphy, Michael Fassbender, Aidan Turner, Robert Sheehan and Brendan Gleeson.
