Bernard Brogan has gushed about his twin boys Donagh and Keadán, who he welcomed with wife Keira in July.

The GAA star admitted it’s hard to remember what it was like before their two sons arrived.

“They’re great!” he told VIP Magazine.

“Their little personalities are really starting to show now so its great fun. We’re besotted with them – you kind of forget what life was like beforehand. It’s definitely a love like no other.”

It’s been a busy few years for the couple who wed in 2016 and welcomed their boys three months ago, and Bernard admits life has changed a lot in just two quick years.

“Yes it’s busy now, but our time is even more precious. You weigh up what’s important and how many hours of sleep you’ll miss or get!”

He added: “To be honest though I haven’t met anyone who said that they were prepared and knew what to expect when their first child/children came along. Someone who had twins recently said to us that the first year is a blur and that we’d never remember it. The aim is to try and survive it!”

Bernard chats fatherhood, football, health and much more in the October issue of VIP Magazine, on shelves now.
