Supervalu have warned their customers of a scam text doing the rounds.
The message is being sent to unsuspecting customers, and reads: “Congratulations! You’ve been selected to receive a €250 Supervalu Voucher. Click here and win. Access limited.”
People are being urged not to click the link.
Taking to social media, reps for the store said, “This is a scam text. It is not supported by Supervalu so please do not interact with this text message and delete it immediately.”
Just last week, the store were hit with a similar scam which promised customers vouchers on completion of surveys.
“It is a phishing scam and has not been issued by SuperValu. We never send out competitions by text, so please be vigilant and delete the text if you have received it,” they said.
