Irish Strictly Come Dancing star Tristan MacManus is set to become a dad for the first time, as his wife Tahyna is expecting a baby very soon.
The pair have been married for two years, and couldn’t be happier to expand their brood and that everything is going so well.
Speaking on The Morning Show in Australia, Tahyna said, “[I’m feeling] good. Everything has been going ok so far.
“Your body changes all the time and you look in the mirror and think, ‘Is that normal?’ But everything is fine.”
The 33-year-old dancer recently confirmed that he wouldn’t be going back to Strictly Come Dancing this year, so instead of waltzing around the ballroom, Tristan will be taking in the sights of Australia with his growing family.
After living abroad for so long – what with Tristan’s work on Dancing With The Stars in the US and then his stint on Strictly Come Dancing in the UK – the couple have decided to go back to Tahyna’s hometown in Australia for a while.
“Both myself and my husband have been talking about it for a long time. We’ve spent the majority of the past 10 years living abroad and I just wanted to come home.
“Obviously having a baby is a great initiative. We’ve missed Australia a lot and it’s great to be home,” she said.
